Uncle Fester
Hello.

1) I upgraded from 4th version to 5th. Looks like 5th version does nothing. It starts, it shows logo and fps, it switches logo during moving but it doesn't increase fps and it doesn't decrease a quality for 50% resolution mode.

If I switch resolution mode by pressing middle mouse button I don't see any difference in quality. With 4th version switching resolution mode did visible changes and raising fps. Here is only logo changing.

2) Booster (ver 4) doesn't do the same work by moving forward and by camera rotation? I guess no. Camera rotation starts switching to 50% quality. Moving forward does something. May be. Is it possible to switch to 50% quality in both cases? (I mean without forced switching to 50% mode)

(Just for info: you posted this is a wrong forum; you are using not legacy Boost, you are using a new one.)

About your question: BOOST 5 does exactly the same things as BOOST 4; something simply went wrong during your upgrade. Uninstall whatever BOOST you have, manually delete folder like C:\Program Files\HiAlgo\Plugins\BOOST (just in case) and install BOOST 5 again.

Good luck! [smile]

I'm sorry.

No. I removed an old folder and I tried several times. I found the reason, BOOST 5 doesn't like some mods, probably the ones which change the lighing. Without mods BOOST 5 works fine. BOOST 4 doesn't has such issues.

But my main question was about possibility to force switching to 50% quality during moving forward. Is it possible to do via config?

Oh, I missed this. No, this is not possible. We experimented with this option long-long time ago - and rejected it.

As I recall, we also tried to decrease resolution when the user was pressing ALT (which meant, he was running) - but abandoned this too.

Of course, you can turn on SWITCH mode in BOOST, when you control the serolution by yourself, but this is less convenient. Maybe if you are running for a long time, you can use it.
