Hi guys. I am using HiAlgo Boost with EnBoost and SweetFX. I get the Hialgo pop-up twice when I start Skyrim. One a few seconds after the first. I'm not sure what I've done wrong. I thought I followed the directions exactly. I start Skyrim through "Mod Organiser", maybe that's interfering? Thanks for any help [smile]

Yes, this definitely can be. So if you use SkyrimLauncher or double-click TESV.exe directly or start it from Steam -- it should be OK.

Thanks for reply.
I tried starting through SKSE launcher which I have used for many months with Boost before and still have Boost pop up twice. I'm not sure if Hialgo is working properly. I still have a lot of stuttering. I have a new graphics card and I'm not happy with the performance, so it's hard to tell. Boost worked beautifully for almost a year with my old card. I'll reinstall everything and see if that works.

Two popups mean that there are two applications starting, and HiAlgoBoost thinks that each of them is TESV.exe.  So, if the problem persists, there might be some info in our log files what these two apps are.

This started happening to me as well but it was accompanied by a crash to desktop as soon as I entered the main menu. I completely uninstalled Hialgo but the crash to desktop persists. The only change I made from when Skyrim was running fine and when it wasn't was installing and running Hialgo and I had to rename a .dll from RealVision ENB and reinstall RealVision ENB at one point.

Well, if you got crashes after installing HiAlgo, it might be a different problem: two popup screens might be a minor detail for you...

So, if you just have installed HiAlgoBoost and were so unfortunate as to get crashes [frown], you have no choice but to go through the troubleshooting routine, sorry:

TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEMS RIGHT AFTER INSTALLATION
...

As always, when troubleshooting try making smaller changes first, for example try HiAlgo without other mods etc.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info re Hialgo thinking I have two TESV.exe running. I start Skyrim with SKSE through Mod Organizer. I think thats what the problem is. When you use Mod Organizer with Character profiles, you have to start Skyrim this way.
