I got the GPD Win Handheld and I'm trying to get a satisfying framerate in Bioshock Infinite on this thing.

With everything on low the game is kind of playable but the framerate drops way below 20fps in more graphic intense situations which makes it unplayable.

in the game itself I can not get the resolution below 1280x720 (which is the devices native resolution).

In the Intel Control Panel I set up a custom resolution of 1024x576 and 800x450.
They work in other games such as Crysis, but not Bioshock infinite.

I also tried modifiying the inis by putting the resolution in,
ResolutionX=1024
ResolutionY=576

or startup parameters like -xres=1024 -yres=576

but the game always jumps back to 1280x720 when starting up.

I tried HiAlgo Switch, I hear the beep but there is no activation dialog.
I'm guessing it is because the game is DX10/DX11 ?

I have no idea if its possible to switch the Engine to DX9.

Anyone got any ideas?

Some games doesn't allow you to use resolutions with height lower than 600px. Try to create a custom resolution of 1088x612 or 1066x600. They works fine with every game i play.
About HiAlgo not injecting, Bioshock Infinite seems to be a DirectX 10 game. By now, HiAlgo only works with DirectX 9 and 32bits.

But if you can't use HiAlgo, isn't the end of the World. Praise the LowSpecGamer!

No that didn't work. Everything I try the game forces back to 1280x720.

I tried GeDoSaTo but the game crashes after a white screen after starting up.
LowSpecGamer's tips only helped a litte, I'm still getting bad framedrops in certain situations.
