So I've downloaded HiAlgoBoost and installed it. When I went to the FAQ to learn how to run the application with Skyrim and to have it work with an ENB, it said that the following files needed to be in the skyrimlauncher.exe directory:

d3d9.dll
dinput8.dll
xinput1_3.dll
HiAlgoBoost.dll
HiAlgoBoost.ini
HiAlgoRegisters.ini
HiAlgo_EULA.txt
HiAlgo_ReadMe.txt
HiAlgo_TESVcache
HiAlgo_TESVdata
HiAlgo_Uninstall.bat
D3DCompiler_43.dll

However, the following files were missing after my installation of the HiAlgo application:

dinput8.dll
xinput1_3.dll
HiAlgoBoost.ini
HiAlgo_TESVcache
HiAlgo_TESVdata
HiAlgo_Uninstall.bat

Is this a version download error or difference? Or are my downloads from this site not including these very important files?

Any light that can be shed on this situation would be most appreciated, because nothing like this has ever been discussed or mentioned in the slightest.

If you download and unzip file from NEXUS website, all the listed files will be there. This would be the legacy (old) version of BOOST. However, if you downloaded EXE file from HIALGO website, and installed it, then you get universal (new) BOOST, and this list of files is irrelevant.

With new BOOST, you do not have to copy anything to Skyrim folder etc. Here are links to the two corresponding FACs:

Legacy (works with Skyrim only)

Universal (works with almost all DirectX 9 games)

So when I look at the FAQ here: http://www.hialgo.com/SkyrimFAQ.htm#WHAT_TO_DO_WHEN_non_ENB_d3d9_dll_based_MODS_ARE_ALSO_USED
that is only related to the LEGACY version?

How will I know if, when using UNIVERSAL, that a chain in the enblocal.ini and hialgoboost.ini files have been configured to work together with ENB and non-ENB d3d9.dll files in such a way if I can't view the hialgoboost.ini file?

Yes, this FAQ is only for the legacy BOOST.

The new BOOST is getting injected in a different way, and different from how ENB is injected; there is no possibility (and no need) to configure its interaction with ENB: it should simply work. [smile]
