Ok, lets see, I got Far cry 3 because its amazing, but its the laggiest game ever so I searched to see if there was hiAlgoboost for it like for skyrim, and there is ^_^ so I downaloded it, bought the full version (who wouldnt?) and installed it, and it worked amazingly...For 10 hours that is.... Today I tried playing it.... but hiAlgoboost didnt show up... there wasnt a sound or anything... far cry 3 started though but the game was extremely laggy so i knew hiAlgoboost wasnt working. I tried reinstalling both Far cry 3 and hiAlgoboost but nothing, its like it doesnt work anymore and I need help, the game is unplayable and i spent 2000$ on my laptop >_< I really need help

OK, my guess is something happened, which is not directly related to HiAlgoBoost. So, let's troubleshoot, something like this:

1. Locate the place where your Far Cry 3 is installed. BTW, make sure that it is installed only in one place.
2. Look in FarCry3\bin subfolder: there should be a bunch of HiAlgo files. Also, important, there should be file d3d9.dll. If they seem to be there, you can clean it up by runing hialgo_uninstaller.exe, just to be sure. (You better also delete ...My Documents\My Games\HiAlgo\FarCry3 folder, but preserve the license file).
3. Now reinstall HiALgoBoost into FarCry3 folder you found. If there are still problems with starting the gave via Unity, try double-clicking FarCry3\bin\farcry3.exe directly, and see what happens.

Good luck!

Did not think about this possibility. Nice to know. All's well that ends well. [smile]
