I already formatted my computer and it is giving the same problem

C: \ Program Files \ x86 \ Hialgo \ Plugins \ BOOST \ d3d9.dll was not designed to run on Windows or to see an error. Try to install the program again using an original installation media or contact a system administrator or software provider for support. "Error Statistics 0xc000012f".

Hi CirlieD,

I googled "error status: 0xc000012f". It seems to be an error of operating system (Windows 10 in your case, I assume). It may be caused by some recent updated of the operating system.

When you say "I formatted my computer", what do you mean? If you re-installed or restored operating system, this is good enough, no need to erase the whole disk. After this, do not install updates right away. First, try using HiAlgo without the updates.

Also, try installing correct, 32bit version of DirectX 9c (on your 64-bit system), as explain in one old FAQ:

You need to update your DirectX 9 (even if you have later versions, DirectX10 and DirectX11, up-to-date) from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 or from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
, whatever works for you.

I just got a new info. There is a (new, temporary?) problem with our website at the moment: when updating applications, it provides incorrect files. Maybe this is what happens to you. In particular, file d3d9.dll has size about 1 KB instead of 133 KB, and its content is HTML code.

In this case, please don't use updates for now and wait until we fix the website. You can still use version 5.0, but not 5.0.1.
