Yes, I was trying to google, found an indirect proof that Rising Thunder is indeed a DX11 game. Look at the image referenced there.

Thanks for the info about Mount & Blade: Warband.

That might also be the case for Mortal Kombat 9 concerning non-DX9 games. Tried it on Left 4 Dead 2 and the lower resolution does not apply with either BOOST or SWITCH although it doesn't need it anyway since the game does it's own compensation.

Also, no problem. There should probably be a pinned thread for games that need to be manually added to the ini.

OK, we will take a look at 'Left 4 Dead 2'.

As for 'pinned thread for games that need to be manually added to the ini', we are doing it differently: we updating Games.ini by ourselves, and then pushing it as update when BOOST or SWITCH is getting used by gamers.

Thanks again!

Can we have some <Cabal 2> love? game runs on dx9 but poorly optimized, maybe BOOST can shed some light into it.... right? xD

Please do this for Warframe as well. I love Warframe and I can play it but I would love some extra frames.

I will warn that it didnt really help me much though but I think thats mostly the servers fault, I feel like it was mostly lag and not so much a performance issue. Anyway to get it to work you cant be accessing the game through ARC, the overlay will kill Hialgo. Instead you have to launch the game from its shortcut in the Install folder to bypass ARC. this will bring up the Patcher without having to have ARC running. Aslo you need to make sure that Hialgo is set to recognize Neverwinter.exe and/or GameClient.exe. by adding them to the Game.ini file.

hi there! i'm using latest BOOST 5.0

i didn't see in the setting.ini a variable to set the minimum resolution,
so i can only set it every time with the ingame
ctrl shift +/-
(when i start skyrim it is always 50%, i'd like set it always to 70%). it is a bit annoying...
did i miss something in the readme/setting.ini?

--------------

PS
by the way, the default images are horrible [rofl], so i take some minutes of my life to create better ones... check it out in the attached files! (you need paint.net to edit the "source" .pdn, but the final files are pngs). you can use it as you wish if you like it!

Hello everyone, I'm very surprised nobody asked for fallout 4 ^^, not sure if there is a particular reason but I'd really like boost to work with that game [smile]

The particular reason is that BOOST is probably working with Fallout, automatically. [tongue] Have you tried it?

This is so-o nice of you!! Wow. Thanks a lot. We will convene a fine arts commission to evaluate the pictures.[wink]  Meanwhile, I assume, you are already using them, right? (Although vsync pictures came out corrupted...)

Here is an undocumented feature: in settings.ini add line for index of maximal coarsening:

MAX_COARSENING_IDX = 3

The value can be 0, 1, ..., 5 which correspond to min resolution (aka max coarsening) of 100, 90, 80, 70, 60 and 50%.

Make sure you are using correct settings.ini file.

About Fallout game: I confused it with Oblivion. [crazy] Oops. Ha-ha. I'm not a gamer myself, sorry.

Fallout is a DirectX 11 game, not DirectX 9. So, it is not supported yet.
