It works great overall but the 50% reduction is quite heavy and I would like to reduce it to 75/80 but I can't seem to change the value with CTRL+SHIFT +- and it's not included in the .ini
Is it not supported for CS:GO yet or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks, thaiming.

Hi thaiming,

CTRL+SHIFT +- should work for CS:GO (and other games). It is not in INI, true. This means, you cannot change key combination. But it should work.

Make sure you first switch to SWITCH mode (50% mode) by clicking middle mouse button. After this pressing CTRL+ SHIFT + + should increase FPS in increments of 10%, and you should see this shown in the upper right corner.

Let us know whether this was helpful.

Unfortunately it doesn't work, maybe it's my keyboard that doesn't support the three keys at the same time, I'm using a Microsoft Sidewinder x4, I know some keyboards have problems with some keyboard combinations so that might be it.
I'll keep following your project and hope that you'll add support to change what buttons you press.

Keep up the great work [smile]

Wow, never heard about this! Can you borrow somebody's keyboard, for 5 min, just to test this hypothesis?

If your frame rate is low, you have to press the keys a bit longer (hold all three of them), so that computer will have a chance to notice...

My framerate is quite good(Im at around 70-100 depending on what happens but I want to try and hold it at a solid 100 in CS:GO).

I even made a Macro to check if it was keyboard limitations and it still doesn't work, so I guess something else is the culprit here.

Hm, this is strange - about keyboard. We had a message from one user; in his case CTRL + SHIFT + '-' did nit work, and he thought this is because he had a French keyboard. But this should not happen.

Oh, I googled your suggestion - indeed, some keyboards can have problems with certain key combinations, they call it Keyboard GhostingIn this page you can at least test your keyboard. Good luck!

Yeah I tested and also read this on the page "Unlike partial anti-ghosting solutions which have many combinations of 3 keys which do not work, Microsoft's SideWinder X4 features multitouch technology that allows it to detect and report ANY combination of 17 or fewer QWERTY keys."

So I guess the keyboard is not the problem, I could press down 17 keys at the same time and all registred. Is there any software that Boost required like constantly updated DX, Net Framewoerd, Visual C++ Redistributable or something else?

Good question.DX9 may needed to be updated; sometimes it happens that people have DX11 up to date, but not DX9.

However, this should have nothing to do with processing keystrokes.

I am running out of ideas... If we have a bug in BOOST - well, we have many bugs [smile] , I mean if we have a relevant bug - how come it shows up so rarely?

Could it be that you have some program, maybe running in background, that can intercept this combination of keystrokes? Maybe you run some tool with the game? Like for recording gameplay or taking screenshots etc? Did you actually try using a different keyboard?

Or maybe we should just wait until more people will complain...

It's probably one of those rare cases that happens to 1 in a million, I have as few things runnings as possible when playing games so nothing really to block it out I would think.
Tried my other two keyboards I have laying around and I tried everything I could think of at this moment.

I'll just have to follow the development and wait for it to work, I should be formatting my computer in a couple of months and will try again then before I install everything else.

Really appreciate the help though and keep it up! [smile]
